Anyone hear about the landmark case against Netflix?
« on: November 02, 2012, 11:00:42 PM »
At long last, a decision has been reached between the NAD (National Assoc. of the Deaf) and Netflix.
Netflix is required, within two years.. To provide subtitling/Captioning on all videos they serve!

That is great news! Considering I am Deaf and I enjoy watching horror movies on Netflix when nearly half of the classics are not subtitled!

its a shame that the NAD had to take this to court to get it done.
sometimes it seems netflix likes bad publicity and/or bad relationships with its customers.

Now if we could get them to stop waiting a month to sen out new release dvds we'd be in even better shape.
