Cobra Mask

I'm thinking about sculpting a cobra mask/bust.  If I get around to this, my first priority is to make this piece an actual latex mask.  With a creature like this, there will be large hood areas.  I've watched a lot of the Stan Winston School videos on mask making, but am still not an expert on this area of art at all.  I want to make sure that the hood areas and scale texturing don't pose any problem(s) for making this piece into a mold/pulling the latex from the mold.  If all else fails, I will simply make it a resin/clay bust.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking,
Chakor Channing

LOL, actually, the mask I'm thinking of sculpting is a completely different character. ;)
