Good eye George! That case is a beast, heavy as hell, but perfect for masks. It has a light atop the case to light up all four masks.

I really need to leave a day early for MF and come visit on the way down. I always fly through Chicago but I never get to leave the airport.

It would be great to have you over for a day/night before Maskfest Lee! We could hit a tiki bar or two also.

Your twin girls must be around a year old now. Congrats! It's good to see you back posting again.

Thanks for the kind words Glenn! Yes, my girls are a ripe old 14 months as of today. They are both well accustom to the masks and enjoy hanging out with me downstairs. They both love the Justin Mabry Frankenstein bust the most!

Damn, your set up is INSANE Pete. Thats gotta be the best over all room concept for a mask room I've ever seen. that Headhunter box is incredible. Also, whats up with that metal display case? Did you make that or was it a lucky find?

(also, a few of those bottles look a little full, if you ever need a hand with that...)

Thanks Josh! That metal display case was definitely a lucky score. It's an old Oakley display case that friend's Dad had rescued from the trash heap. I still plan to make a proper distressed wooden sign for the top of it, as well as making a few plaques for the masks inside. If you're ever in the Chicago area, please hit me up. We can definitely put a dent in some of those bottles  ;)

That's quite a rad space you've got there, Pete! I'm absolutely loving the theme. Also, is that a Haunted Mask I spy amongst the pack?

Good eye Symbiote! That is indeed a Haunted Mask. It was made by Caine Productions, and I think it was called "Carly's Curse". I scored a blank from the artist about 3 years ago and finished it myself. I missed out on the Goosebump television series, but I did watch the Haunted Mask episode on Youtube a good 4-5 years ago, what an amazing episode! A MUST watch for any mask collector.

I must say, you did a phenomenal job with the finish, Pete. It's just the way I remember it looking in the episode. The Goosebumps tv series had some great mask work. The Haunted Mask 2 and Attack of the Jack O'Lanterns were notable examples of this.
