Fantastic mask by a fantastic artist. Love John's take on this character. If memory serves Doh! just picked one of these up. Not so crazy about the blue hair on this particular version of the Shock Monster though.

On a sadder note it was announced that John has passed away. You can read about it on Death Studios home page. Very sad news. Major condolences to his family and friends at Death Studios. R.I.P.  :'(

Very sad indeed. He was only 55 years old. Always seemed to be a super nice (and inarguably talented) man.
You might suspect I threw this video together in a hurry in order to post it the same week John died, but the peculiar thing is, this was already going to be the Creepy Cheapie mask video of the week before I learned of his passing. I presumed he would be here to see it. Sorry now that I didn't have it ready last week, when he was still around. Still, I guess I'm glad it was ready to post here so soon after our community's tragic loss.  R.I.P. John.

So sad to hear that. I love my copy, and highly recommend it to anyone lacking a Shock in their collection.

I'm glad you're highlighting Death Studios, Doc. I also have their Tor Johnson and Franken Zombie.  Such great quality stuff they put out!
