 JGTH Demon Spawn bust
Heres a personal project of mine that I finished recently. It will be my take of that Demon spawn from jgth. I reckon this monster is completely cut out from all versions of this film that I've seen so far.. Its were the little creature crawls out of a victoms neck and then slivers away to the basement were the demon supposively grows into a fullsize demon. At least I know we get to see a shot of the demons screaming face (head only) That is shown in the movies trailer for only split second. So I thaught I try my hands at a fullsize bust of this creature. Heres a pic. used for reference. Its from the card set and its in reverse so I had to fix it right. .. Heres one card of the backside .. Progress Pix coming ahead -BEST:ES-

 Re: JGTH Demon Spawn bust
To illustrate this whole process (or some at least) I did this piece in steps.. Hardly complete mind you. But heres some shots I took behind the scenes during the fun. Hope you all enjoy! Perparing to mold.. Both tentacles and chin horn have been removed here to be cast seperately later. Top shot of the mold wall. The retaining wall has been added too and the 1st batch of plaster is applied here. Front half now complete. removing wall support Begining of the molds back half. Molding horns and bottom tentacles. The start of the base/neck portion being plastered. Blank pull all together now with everything in place and ready for painting. Completed bust with him painted coming up next.

 Re: JGTH Demon Spawn bust
I got all my pics sorted now. Here it is painted and foam filled. The time all together took me around 4 weeks (on and off) to complete this large piece. - Titled it as - 'Hell Awaits'... The one blind eye has a light blue iris..'I noticed that after pausing then zooming in on the movie trailer still. I completed it by added some viening to it... Thanks for looking! BEST:ES

As I mentioned on another forum, great work! I like the fact that you went and made something from the Friday the 13th franchise that no one else has tried. Congrats! I added a story about this as discussed previously.

 Re: JGTH Demon Spawn bust
Hi, The paints are not inks,. Although I do like using those on some pieces, but haven't lately.. The paints used here are acyrlic/latex based paints and applied with an old hand brush too. I mainly use art brushes for most of my paint work these days. But sometimes I might also bring in the air-brush for final finishing touches. Just for high lighting or blending certain spots on a piece .. Thanks A Lot ! Glad y'all dig it!

 Re: JGTH Demon Spawn bust
Thanks again for the kind words on my demon re-creation. My largest monster bust done so far and he was a big effort . Taking some progess pix along the way was just something I thaught might interest some of you here in seeing it form.
I sometimes like to try and capture, 'If my hands aren't covered in plaster' some step by step w.i.p. pix of some stuff that I work on.
Thats really all done by my lonesome. Being just me and my little cheapo camera and tri-pod...
Much appreciated! BEST:ES
